County's 150th birthday!
The 2009 Taste of Muskegon will feature a number of special tie-ins with the County of Muskegon's 150 Birthday with a cake cutting at 3:00pm on June 20th, a display tracing the history of the county, and a 150 inch long garlic bread prepared by Coles Quality Foods what will set a Guiness World Record!

The Taste of Muskegon is a celebration of the area's best restaurants, bakeries, and more serving up their specialties. Come down and sample some of the best the area has to offer for just a few dollars! Restaurants will be selling various items for $1.00 to $5.00! Proceeds to benefit Muskegon Main Street and the United Way of the Lakeshore, both nonprofit organizations.

The first annual Taste of Muskegon was successful beyond expections, with continued growth in 2008. In 2009, we anxiously look forward to delivering another fantastic festival to the community at a very affordable price. This year, the Food Expo stage will have an expanded schedule and the Taste Garden, serving craft Michigan beer and wine samples for $1, will have greater selection. The Kids' Area will be open all weekend, and join us Sunday morning for the Muskegon Main Street Car & Bike Show!
Everyone knows what great restaurants Muskegon has; the Taste of Muskegon is THE event that brings Muskegon's establishments together for two great days of food and fun!
